Need consumer opinions on a few things..
December 6, 2006
Sometimes I’d like to try things a different way, but wonder how the customers would respond to them. As anyone who books with me knows already, I send out a detailed information folder by mail after the booking. The folder contains a detailed price list, cothing tips, FAQ sheet, model release, etc. A new way of doing this would be to not mail a physical folder but to send a pdf. file that when opened would contain all these sheets. The customer could view the same information on their computer and print anything they’d like. The model release would have to be printed and signed. So, do you think you’d like this better or do you prefer to have the actual papers in your hand via mail? don’t be shy, leave a comment………
Another change that will take effect on Dec. 15th is all online proof pages will stay active for 7 days only. All orders placed in the first 3 days (72 hours) of the page being published will get a 10% discount. There will be a republish fee of $45 for an additional 7 days.
Holiday sessions are done but…
December 2, 2006
well, this year is proving to be very different from last year. Even though my “holiday” sessions are over, I’m still mostly booked up for December and slowly filling in January (well, atleast the weekends). Also, wedding bookings are coming along at a steady pace as well. It’s been a great year for me, so I certainly can’t complain. I’m a very positive person and I always see the glass half full, and I see great things for ‘07. There will be some policy changes starting Dec 15th with a very slight price change on large prints. All bookings that were made before Dec. 15th will follow the old price list and the old policies. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to email me at hollyerwinphotography@yahoo.com.
